Special Ability
The F-5 Tiger has a special ability called Barrage Fire. When activated, it automatically locks and fires all remaining missiles at one or more targets. The initial lock time is substantially shorter than a conventual lock with a single missile. The reticle can aimed at one opponent and all remaining missiles will be automatically fired at that opponent. The reticle can be aimed at different opponent to transfer fire to a different target.
Veteran tips
The F-5 Tiger is a well balanced airframe. Its agility and weapons are easy to master. Its cannons, although producing weaker damage, can be fired for a long period of time without overheating. In skilled hands, the cannon can produce oppressive damage. The special barrage fire is challenging to master. When used correctly, in conduction with the cannons it can nearly guarantee a kill. The special barrage fire is particularly advantageous with head-on attacks, as an opponent has little time to react to multiple missiles fired at them. The F-5 Tiger's agility is impressive, and makes for a pleasurable flying experience. This, combined with its small size makes it a performer in terrain. It excels in close-in dogfighting. Its durability is low. Avoid flying in open skies as it can be an easy target.
Trivia

Within the details of the paint, the pilot of the pictured airframe is CMD Greg Shuster of the Marine Fighter Training Squadron 401 (VMFT-401) is an adversary squadron of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, flying the F-5N Tiger II.
